Biography

経 歴

A singer-songwriter from Osaka, Japan, she began studying the Electone at the age of five and started composing music in her early childhood. She launched her professional career at the age of 20, performing primarily at live music venues in Osaka. In 2013, she moved to the UK and went on to develop her musical career across Europe, based in London and the Netherlands.

In 2018, she joined JUNO REACTOR's Mutant Theatre and also performed as the vocalist of WARRIOR CHARGE. In 2019, she took part in the Canadian production PY1 – Through the Echoes. Moving beyond borders and genres, she has continued to expand her work across diverse forms of musical expression.

In 2021, she composed the score and songs for the stage production MOTHERLAND, presented at Meijiza Theatre in Tokyo and Morinomiya Piloti Hall in Osaka. She has also released an NFT-exclusive track in collaboration with BLOND:ISH.

In 2025, she launched the music project YUTORI with Simon Carpentier, a composer whose work spans numerous Cirque du Soleil productions, as well as stage works and international projects around the world. Kaguya's Light was officially submitted for consideration in the Global Music Performance category for the 2026 GRAMMY® Awards. Through a voice of stillness and depth, she creates music that weaves together Japanese spirituality and kotodama — the belief in the spiritual power inherent in words.
